Labour heads for landslide victory as poll predicts party will win 465 seats
Mega-poll finds Labour on track to win biggest majority since Tony Blair's 1997 landslide
Poll predicts Labour will win 465 seats, Conservatives will win 102 seats
The Labour Party is heading for a landslide victory in the UK's general election, according to a new poll. The mega-poll, which was conducted by YouGov, predicts that Labour will win 465 of the 632 seats in England, Scotland and Wales, giving it the biggest majority since Tony Blair's 1997 landslide.
The poll is the worst of the three for the Conservatives, who are predicted to win 102 seats. The Liberal Democrats are predicted to win 72 seats, the SNP 18 seats, and the Greens one seat.
The poll suggests that the Labour Party is on track to win a large majority in the House of Commons. This would be a major blow to the Conservative Party, which has been in power for the past nine years.
The poll was conducted between 30 November and 6 December, and surveyed 10,000 people. The margin of error is +/- 1.5%.
