The highly anticipated fourteenth series of the iconic British science fiction television programme Doctor Who is set to premiere on 11 May 2024. Russell T. Davies, who previously served as showrunner from 2005 to 2010, returns to helm the series.

Ncuti Gatwa, best known for his role in the Netflix series Sex Education, will take on the iconic role of the Doctor. He will be joined by Millie Gibson, who will play Ruby Sunday, his companion. The casting of Gatwa marks a significant milestone as he becomes the first Black actor to portray the Doctor in the show's long-running history.
