Chinenye Chiney Ogwumike, born on March 21, 1992, is an American professional basketball player who last played for the Los Angeles Sparks of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). Ogwumike's passion for basketball was evident from a young age, and she went on to become a standout player at Stanford University. After graduating, she was selected first overall by the Connecticut Sun in the 2014 WNBA Draft.
